KYC and AML Policy
Know Your Customer and anti money laundering rules exist so that an account belongs to the person using it and the money moving through it is theirs. In practice this is why the platform asks for a real name and a payment method in your own name before it pays anything out.
The checks protect the account holder as much as the operator: an account nobody else can withdraw from is an account nobody else can empty. The rest of the platform is on the We1Win Malaysia site.
Who Must Be Verified
Every account holder, and the check happens at predictable moments rather than at random.
- Before the first payout. The real name, mobile number and payment details are linked in the member area, and the receiving account holder has to match the account.
- When payment details change. Adding a new bank account or wallet re-opens the check for that method.
- Where activity requires review. Unusual patterns, a mismatch between deposit and payout methods, or a report from a payment provider can trigger a further check.
Which documents are requested, and at which point, is shown in the member area rather than published in advance, since requirements differ by account and by payment channel. Follow the prompts there rather than preparing a folder of scans on the assumption they will be needed.
What Is Checked
Four things, in roughly this order of importance.
- Identity. That the person holding the account is who the registration says they are.
- Ownership of the payment method. That the bank account or wallet belongs to the same person. This is the check that catches most problems, and the reason the real name field at registration matters so much.
- Consistency of activity. Whether the pattern of deposits, play and withdrawals is consistent with a normal account.
- Source of funds. Where circumstances require it, the origin of the money being deposited.
Threshold amounts that trigger enhanced checks are not published, for the straightforward reason that publishing them would tell anyone wanting to avoid them exactly where the line sits.
Prohibited Transactions
Five practices are not permitted, and each one is a standard anti money laundering red flag rather than a house rule.
- Depositing from a third party account. Money must come from a payment instrument in your own name.
- Requesting a payout to someone else. Funds return to an account belonging to the account holder.
- Splitting transactions into smaller amounts to stay under a threshold.
- Using multiple accounts, whether opened by you or operated on someone else’s behalf.
- Chargebacks and payment disputes raised instead of contacting support.
Consequences range from a suspended payout while the matter is reviewed through to closure of the account and forfeiture of funds obtained in breach of these rules. The full conduct list is in the terms and conditions.
Monitoring and Reporting
Transactions are monitored on an ongoing basis rather than only at registration. Automated rules flag patterns that require attention, and a flagged case is reviewed by staff rather than acted on automatically.
Records of accounts, transactions and verification are retained for the periods required by the applicable financial rules, which is one of the reasons a closed account’s data is not deleted immediately.
Where the operator is required by law to report a matter or to respond to a lawful request from a competent authority, it does so. Specific authorities are not named on this page, since that is part of the operator’s own regulatory documentation. How personal data is handled generally is set out in the privacy policy.
If a Check Is Not Passed
Nothing disappears silently. Where a check cannot be completed, three things happen in sequence.
- The pending payout is held rather than processed.
- The account is told what is missing or inconsistent, usually a mismatch between the account name and the receiving account.
- Once the correct information is provided, the request is reassessed.
Where the platform restricts an account, the balance is not treated as forfeited by default. Funds are returned where the review allows it, subject to any outstanding bonus requirement.
Review times are not published, so if a hold lasts longer than the withdrawal section indicated, ask support with your username, the request time and the channel used rather than resubmitting the request.
Player Responsibilities
Five obligations sit with the account holder, and following them removes almost every reason a payout gets held.
- Register with accurate details, particularly the real name as the bank spells it.
- Use only payment methods held in your own name.
- Keep the linked details current when a bank account or phone number changes.
- Do not give anyone else access to the account.
- Respond to verification requests promptly rather than at the moment you want to withdraw.
The last point is the practical one: link everything on the first day, and the check happens quietly in the background instead of standing between you and a payout. The rules that govern payouts are on the payout rules page.
